I have always loved candles especially scented ones. Three years ago, I began researching what type of candle product I would like to make by going to the library, online and talking with local candle makers, one of which helps with the production of our product. Finding a highly scented candle that actually smells great with a long lasting scent can be difficult. Sometimes even the expensive name brand candles can be disappointing. We wanted our candles to really stand out so we focused on a high quality wax and the best oils poured into a collectible old fashion glass.

Originally, I wanted to call it GROSS SCENTS! This is our last name, I thought how original, funny, and it would spark curiosity. Mother laughed and so did everyone else. She felt that this is too nice of a product to play around with the name. We both agreed on Scents of the South. Mom has a good business sense and apparently, I have the humor. We are enjoying working together.

When it comes to our product we are very generous with the scents, you will not be disappointed. We look forward to hearing from ya'll.
